Ivan Urgant denied his involvement in anti-Russian posts published in a fake Telegram channel and attributed to the TV presenter. He stated that the Evening Urgant program never had an account in the messenger where the posts appeared. The TV presenter wrote about this in his own telegram channel.
Earlier, writer Zakhar Prilepin, in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak, accused Ivan Urgant of publishing a message calling for support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the “Evening Urgant” telegram channel.
However, the presenter of the program stated that the project had no such resource. After the publication of the anti-Russian post, an appeal was sent to support the messenger with a request to block the fake Telegram channel. To confirm his words, Urgant published a screenshot of the message. As a result, only the post was deleted, but the channel still exists.
“I never wrote or posted this. So let’s take this as a given. Let’s stop procrastinating, indiscriminately blaming, poisoning, persecuting and, most importantly, lying,” the TV presenter wrote.
Previously, information appeared about possible New Year’s corporate earnings of Ivan Urgant. According to promoter Evgeny Morozov, the TV presenter will perform anywhere and without any problems. In the stand-up format, according to the interlocutor, Urgant has a great future even abroad. He can have 200 concerts abroad a year, and his fee can be about 10 thousand euros.
