“Not so long ago, a decree was signed on putting the updated space control system on combat duty,” Mr. Boev said at the Army-2022 forum.
As the agency explains, “global control of the situation in near-Earth space” is provided by ground-based elements of the system located in the Moscow region, the Altai Territory, the Far East region, Karachay-Cherkessia and Tajikistan.
