United Russia named the leading regions in terms of voter turnout

In terms of turnout at elections to legislative assemblies, the Kemerovo region leads among the regions, in voting for city Duma deputies – Yakutsk, Maykop and Krasnoyarsk, reported Deputy Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Sergei Perminov.

In the most competitive campaigns, according to him, a good turnout is observed in Khakassia – more than 27%, in Ulyanovsk – 20%, in the Arkhangelsk region – 13%. The presented data does not take into account the turnout in new regions, ER noted.

A single voting day takes place in Russia on September 10. According to the Central Election Commission, 4,270 election campaigns of various levels are taking place in 85 regions from September 8 to 10. More than 33,000 seats will be filled; over 85,000 candidates from 23 parties have nominated themselves for the elections. Representatives of 20 parties were registered, a total of 81,000 candidates, United Russia had the most candidates, then the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party.

Based on the results of the first day of voting, the highest turnout in the by-elections of State Duma deputies was marked in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, it reached 27.37%, the head of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova previously reported.
