United Russia held “Together!” rallies and concerts across the country on Tuesday. For Russia!”, the main one of which took place in Volgograd. Although they were not formally positioned as election campaigns, their participants actually did not hide the fact that the purpose of the action was to support Vladimir Putin in the presidential elections. All the co-chairs of his campaign headquarters spoke at the rallies: Maryana Lysenko, Vladimir Mashkov and Artem Zhoga. The latter especially noted: it is important for those fighting on the front line to know that “remarkable events” are taking place in the rear – the election of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. And United Russia Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that a strong country needs a strong president, and gave a simple but convincing forecast: without consolidation around the leader, victory is impossible, and there will definitely be one.

In Volgograd, the rally-concert took place in the amphitheater on the Central Embankment. Before the politicians arrived, the crowd was entertained with songs and a performance by the Todes dance group. Finally, the presenter called on everyone to start counting down in unison: “Ten, nine, eight, seven…”

After this, the deputy leader of the United Russia (UR) faction in the State Duma, Evgeniy Revenko, appeared on the stage. He told the audience that they all came here with one goal – to share responsibility for the country and “to show that we care.” “We are building a strong and sovereign power and we see it in a diverse world, where the interests of different peoples are taken into account, and not just one hegemon!” – the deputy proclaimed and invited singer Evgeny Solomin to the stage, whose songs, according to Mr. Revenko, perfectly reflect “the essence of the events taking place.” “We cannot be destroyed, we cannot be canceled. The free Russian soul cannot be defeated. We are an unbreakable force, together for all time. Faith, unity, Russia! Go ahead, country! – Mr. Solomin sang.

However, it soon became clear that the rally had another important goal, which was personified by the three co-chairs of Vladimir Putin’s campaign headquarters. One of them, the head physician of Moscow Hospital No. 52 Maryana Lysenko, dressed in a long black dress, spoke via video link from Barnaul. She did not fail to say that she was traveling around the regions on behalf of Vladimir Putin, and recalled that it was in Siberia that the divisions that “broke the back of the fascists” were forged. “Guys, we are strong, we vote for Russia!” – Ms. Lysenko summarized.

Governor of the Volgograd region Andrei Bocharov decided to be more specific: “Our choice is family, the traditional values of our multinational people. Our choice is our common history, the protection of our historical heritage. And, of course, our choice is the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin!”

Another co-chairman of the headquarters, commander of the Sparta battalion and speaker of the DPR parliament Artem Zhoga, spoke via video link from Sevastopol. He thanked those gathered for their support of “our guys on the front line,” who need it, as well as the understanding that “wonderful events await them in the rear.” “This is an election that will choose our commander in chief. This is confidence in the rear, confidence in victory with our supreme,” the fighter and politician decisively clarified the remarkable essence of these events.

The third co-chairman of the headquarters, actor Vladimir Mashkov, limited himself to a recorded video message in which he recalled the president’s message to parliament. “Russia knows where to go, who we are on the path with and what needs to be done to achieve its goals. And we have everything for this!” – he encouraged the protesters.

The speakers’ speeches were interspersed with performances by patriotic singers and comments by Evgeniy Revenko, who, in particular, did not forget to remind those gathered that United Russia is a faithful ally of the president and supports all his initiatives.

The last politician to speak was the Chairman of United Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. “You and I are united by one idea: we want to live in a strong country! And a strong country must be led by a strong president – do you understand who I’m talking about?” – he began with a more than transparent hint. The choice that the Russians will make in a few days is obvious to Mr. Medvedev, because victory requires “consolidation around the leader.” “Only in this case will we win. And we will win! There is no doubt! For victory! For Russia! Hooray!” — the United Russia leader concluded his speech.

But the final point in the rally-concert turned out to be a concert: rapper ST appeared on stage. “Give him the strength to win. To return home and reign in peace. Give him strength to win. He is a hero for the elders, and an idol for the young,” he read selflessly, burring slightly. In total, the Volgograd rally-concert took just under an hour.

In other regions, actions took place both on the street and under the roof. For example, in Samara United Russia members gathered on Glory Square, in Orenburg on Atrium Square, in Ulyanovsk, despite the dampness and wind, on Cathedral Square. In Vladivostok, a rally in the park of the historical park “Russia is my history” brought together more than 300 people, including Governor Oleg Kozhemyako and Deputy Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Daria Lantratova. In St. Petersburg, the event was also held in the park “Russia is my history” with the participation of about 800 people, and in Chelyabinsk – in the art square on the embankment of the Miass River. At the same time, in Krasnodar, a rally-concert was held on the site of the Champion sports complex, in Ufa and Novosibirsk – in the buildings of local philharmonic societies, and in Krasnoyarsk – in the House of Friendship.

In a number of regions, the organizers slightly diversified the standard format. Thus, in Transbaikalia, the action took place at the headquarters of public support in the form of a conversation “without reports”: about 100 people – members and supporters of United Russia, volunteers, social activists, deputies of the regional legislative assembly, participants in a special military operation and civil activists – discussed “urgent issues of the country’s development and the edges”. And in Stavropol, a rally was organized in the Pobeda Culture and Recreation Park, where everyone could take part in the making of “dry army showers,” trench candles, shoe insoles, camouflage nets and amulet toys. According to official data, the event attracted about 5 thousand people.
