“United Russia” launches a training project “PolitStart”

United Russia is starting training for participants in the PolitStart project, Kommersant was told in the party. The desire to take part in it was expressed by 5,900 people from 38 regions, whose average age is 29 years, and the largest representation among the participants is in the Rostov region (467 people), Ingushetia (216) and the Moscow region (159). Of the new Russian regions, a total of 166 people wished to take part in the training.
United Russia has been conducting special personnel training for those who want to try themselves in politics since 2018, but earlier this project was called “Politstartup”. In addition to the training course, the most successful project participants are also provided with accompaniment to intra-party primaries and during their election campaigns.
“Among the main areas in which lectures by experts from the Higher Party School will be held are current electoral sociology, candidate positioning, working with media, campaigning on the Internet and other useful information,” says Roman Romanov, director of the Higher Party School of United Russia. A special feature of this year’s training, according to party members, will be the “Political Leader” course, which will be taught by Evgeny Minchenko, President of the Minchenko Consulting communications holding, Viktor Poturemsky, director of political analysis at the Institute of Social Marketing, and political strategist Alexei Kurtov.
In addition, this year, on the basis of the Higher Party School, special training for women politicians will be launched, which is organized by the United Russia Women’s Movement. As lecturers during this training, in particular, political consultant Yevgenia Stulova and deputy secretary of the party’s general council, senator Daria Lantratova will speak.
