United Russia announced the exemption of all pensioners from the housing and communal services commission

Deputy head of the United Russia faction Andrei Isaev said that all pensioners, and not just preferential categories, will be exempt from the commission when paying for housing and communal services. In early December, the State Duma and the Federation Council adopted a law abolishing bank fees for preferential categories of needy citizens.
According to Mr. Isaev, as reported by Interfax, the exemption from paying the commission for all pensioners was confirmed by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with faction leaders.
December 7 State Duma in second and third readings accepted the law on commissions for paying housing and communal services for citizens, banks and agents retained the ability to charge such a commission. An exception is made for categories of citizens in need of social support, the list of which must be determined by the government.
December 14 during “Results of the year” President Vladimir Putin said that the collection of commissions for payment of housing and communal services from pensioners will soon be stopped, the corresponding decision has already been made.
