As the Unicom press service notes, similar figures were recorded in May 2021 (24.45 thousand rubles) and July 2022 (24.5 thousand rubles).

At the same time, microfinance organizations are ready to offer loans to customers in the amount of 8–9 thousand rubles, which is three times less than the requested amount. According to analysts, this is how companies try to minimize the risks of bad debts.

“It is worth noting that the demand of Russians for borrowed funds is still at a high level. So, for example, every second Russian with an average income level admitted that in order to make an unplanned purchase, he is forced to save money or turn to financial institutions, ”the study says.

Earlier, Kommersant wrote that by August, the level of early repayment in the payday loans segment had practically returned to the indicators of the beginning of the year after the spring failure. This happened against the background of stabilization of the situation in the economy. Experts do not expect this trend to last long.
