In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the military operation “Iron Swords”. Later, the IDF confirmed the penetration of Hamas into the country. According to the latest media reports, which cite representatives of the Ministry of Health, the death toll as a result of the group’s massive attack on Israel exceeded 300 people, and more than 1,800 were injured.
