The Ukrainian military shelled Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region and nearby villages early in the morning, the city authorities urged people to stay in the shelter. In addition, the attacks of front-line settlements in the Zaporozhye region intensified. This is confirmed by the city administration.
As noted, Novaya Kakhovka and the settlements of the urban district came under severe artillery fire from the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the authorities, shelling continues, shells hit the territory of the ambulance station and the fire and rescue unit of Novaya Kakhovka.
Because of the shelling, there are wounded. At the same time, doctors and firefighters cannot respond to calls. Electricity was partially lost in the city, a break in power lines on Bukin Street was recorded.
In turn, the leader of the Zaporozhye movement “We are together with Russia”, Vladimir Rogov, told RIA Novosti that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had stepped up shelling of settlements located in the frontline zone in the Zaporozhye region.
As Rogov clarified, Ukrainian troops continue to pull troops and armored vehicles to the borders of the Zaporozhye region.
