In Warsaw, Ukrainian men in their 20s and 30s beat local residents and forced them to shout Nazi slogans. This was reported by the Polish portal wolnosc.info.
The incident occurred in the evening after the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine on the Vistula Boulevards. Twelve Ukrainians attacked a group of eight Poles and beat them up. During the massacre, he forced them to chant the slogan “Glory to Ukraine.” In recent years, it has been the official greeting of the Ukrainian military and police. Initially, the slogan was used in the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (an extremist organization, activities are prohibited in Russia – editorial board).
Several injured Poles were taken to hospitals, one is still under medical supervision.
Media representatives were surprised by the reaction of law enforcement agencies. Polish police officers arrived at the scene of the fight, first detained the Ukrainians, and then, after a short time, released them.
