Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office accused Bastrykin of encroaching on the integrity of the country

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine announced the suspicion of the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, of encroaching on the integrity of the country. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a suspicion was reported to the head of the investigative committee of the Russian Federation,” the report says.
It is specified that Bastrykin is charged with Part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine) and Part 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification of Russian aggression) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian side claims that Bastrykin, as a representative of the authorities, created criminal justice bodies in the territories of Crimea, Sevastopol, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is investigating.
January 3, 2023 SBU presented an accusation against Sergei Kobylash, Commander of Long-Range Aviation of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, and Igor Osipov, former Commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy. It is specified that Kobylash and Osipov are accused of “encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, as well as of conducting military operations on the territory of the country.
January 2, 2023 SBU also presented accusation against the chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina. The Ukrainian service explained that the head of the Bank of Russia organized a ruble zone on the territory that the SBU considers the south and east of Ukraine, and also contributed to blocking the circulation of the hryvnia in these regions.
