Ukrainian prisoner of war spoke about the training of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Canadian instructors

A fighter of the 95th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vitaliy Lishchuk, who was captured by the Russian military, said that Canadian and British military instructors are teaching Ukrainian soldiers the tactics of urban combat.
“In October, I was called up and sent to study in the UK. There we were taught field tactics, urban tactics. They explained how to storm cities, underwent training for several days, then passed an exam,” the prisoner said, specifying that the training lasted 35 days, after which was transported to Zhytomyr, and from there to the front.
He also said that at the British training ground they were trained to shoot from a Kalashnikov assault rifle and the British SA80 rifle complex, “once they showed them on the NLAW simulator (Swedish-British man-portable anti-tank guided missile – ed.).”
