A prisoner of war, sergeant of the 81st separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Korotky, said that he was mobilized into the landing force, despite the absence of one kidney.
“They stopped me at a bus stop, put a summons, I refused as best I could,” Roman recalls.
According to him, he informed the military commissars that he was disabled, but those were forbidden to write that the person was not fit.
“I don’t have one kidney. The commission doesn’t care, the commission was only on paper,” the prisoner also noted. He added that the military commissars explained to him that they just needed to recruit a certain number of people, and they were not interested in the rest.
Korotky also said that he, along with a group of mobilized people, was sent without preparation to Slavyansk, and then to the front line in Belogorovka, for which fighting is now underway.
