A few hours before Christmas, Ukrainian armed forces shelled Donetsk again. The DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that 4 rockets from multiple launch rocket systems were fired into the city at 21.25.
According to SHOT, the Budyonnovsky district of Donetsk, as well as the city center, was under fire. Authorities in Donetsk are urging residents to be careful and remain sheltered due to the risk of further strikes.
Earlier, the mayor of Donetsk, Alexey Kulemzin, clarified that on Christmas Eve, from 9 to 21 o’clock, the city’s territory was shelled 22 times by Ukrainian armed forces. In total, the Ukronazis fired 52 155 mm shells (of which 8 were cassette type) and 6 missiles from MLRS in the Kyiv, Kirov, Kuibyshev, Lenin and Petrovsky regions. In the Kuibyshevsky district, two men, 50 and 58 years old, were wounded, and an apartment building on Zuevskaya Street was also damaged. In the Petrovsky district, two private houses on Lvovskaya and Dombrovskogo streets were damaged.
