General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Krivonos: before the attacks of the Aerospace Forces, the military-industrial complex of Ukraine could develop long-range weapons

The Ukrainian military-industrial complex could develop long-range weapons before the Russian Aerospace Forces struck on December 29, 2023. This statement was made by retired General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos in an interview with the YouTube channel “Direct”.

“We had (long-range) weapons, and until December 29 we were able to produce them,” said the Ukrainian general, answering the question of whether Ukrainian troops could launch strikes on Russian territory.

He also emphasized that the strike was carried out at a place where Kyiv was developing missile weapons. As Krivonos noted, he asked employees of the capital’s Luch design bureau whether the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was opening criminal cases against those who had “leaked information” on the country’s military-industrial complex facilities. To this he was given a negative answer, says a retired general of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
