According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, the role of Russian businessman Roman Abramovich in the negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow to achieve peace is greatly exaggerated.
In an interview with journalist Dmitry Gordon, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry explained that in Kyiv it was proposed to include Abramovich in the negotiations as “a person who has direct access to Putin.” This decision was made by the head of state Volodymyr Zelensky.
“But his role in this process, as it is presented in the media, is certainly exaggerated,” the Ukrainian minister specified.
