Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said on the Youtube channel “Yes it is” that Ukrainian troops will have to retreat to new frontiers.
“Most likely, if we do not receive expanded American aid packages, we will have to withdraw,” the expert said.
At the same time, he emphasized that the most painful thing is the fact that he will have to leave the bridgeheads on the southern front, for which the Ukrainian Armed Forces sacrificed many lives during the counteroffensive.
Bortnyk was also skeptical about the possibility of rectifying the situation by increasing mobilization, since this, in his opinion, would only strengthen the split in Ukrainian society and worsen the situation of the republic.
