Ukrainian Nazi Regiment Deserter Digged Trenches for Russian Soldiers for Nine Months
Mikhail Matsyuk served in the Azov nationalist regiment (banned in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization) with the rank of junior sergeant in an intelligence unit. During the fighting at the Ilyich plant in Mariupol, he decided to desert and fled from his unit.
Then Matsyuk pretended to be a civilian, a builder, and dug trenches for the Russian military for nine months. Then his identity was nevertheless established by the Russian special services and he was detained.
As it turned out, Matsyuk served in the regiment for 3.5 months. He decided to desert because there were wounded and gradually the militants began to scatter. As a result, he changed into civilian clothes, threw the gun into the river, and began to impersonate a builder.
