Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov: let Russia “blame themselves”
[ad_1]
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine refused to confirm or deny the statement of the Russian side about Kiev organizing an attack on the Kremlin using unmanned aerial vehicles. On Wednesday, May 3, writes The Washington Post with reference to the head of the department, Alexei Reznikov.
The Ukrainian minister did not comment on reports of Kyiv’s thwarted attempt to attack the Kremlin on the merits.
At the same time, Reznikov said that Russia “terrorizes the civilian population of Ukraine” every day and every night, so “if officials in the Kremlin try to blame someone, they can blame themselves.”
Sources in the US administration, meanwhile, said that Washington is trying to establish the author of the order to attack the Kremlin with the help of drones. The United States is investigating whether this order came from Kyiv or if some pro-Ukrainian group is behind it. At the same time, the United States does not rule out that the Russian side is spreading a fake, announcing a drone attack on the Kremlin, sources say.
Moscow, meanwhile, warned that after the terrorist attack attempted by Kiev, it reserves the right to give an adequate response – when it sees fit.
