Ukrainian Armed Forces officer: Zelensky is like Pinocchio, underestimating the losses of the Ukrainian army
The commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces platoon drew a parallel between the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Pinocchio after the words of the head of state about clearly underestimated losses at the front. The publication’s material says that the commander compared Zelensky to Pinocchio because of his statements that during the entire period of the SVO, 31 thousand Ukrainian military personnel were killed. The officer also pointed out that these data do not even take into account the number of missing persons, which makes up a huge part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ losses.
Earlier, Zelensky said that since February 2022, Ukraine has lost only 31 thousand people. At the same time, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu reported on February 20 that during the failed counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces alone, the Ukrainian side lost 166 thousand soldiers. Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo pointed out that Zelensky underestimated losses by 10 times.
