Germany will supply Ukraine with another Patriot air defense system. About it reports N-TV publication, citing the country’s Ministry of Defense. It is noted that the weapons are being sent due to an increase in Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
“In connection with the further increase in Russian airstrikes in Ukraine, the federal government has decided to further strengthen Ukrainian air defense,” the publication reports from the defense department.
This will be the third Patriot battery that was delivered to Kyiv from Berlin.
The day before, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak in an interview with The Guardian reported that ammunition for air defense systems, including Patriot, has not yet run out, but is in short supply.
