The National Agency of Ukraine for the Prevention of Corruption reported on its website that for the period of consultations involving representatives of the European Commission, the status of Raiffeisen Bank as an “international war sponsor” is suspended.
Earlier, the Austrian authorities lifted the veto from the 12th package of anti-Russian sanctions of the European Union. In response, Vienna asked Kyiv to exclude the Raiffeisen banking group from the Ukrainian list of “war sponsors.”
Let us recall that Ukraine included the Austrian bank in its list of “war sponsors” for its decision to continue working in Russia after the start of the special operation.
