The Ukrainian authorities have announced the testing of a new type of drones – ground drones. How writes Business Insider, the robots were developed with the assistance of a specialized division of the Pentagon.
According to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, 25 prototypes developed for different tasks participated in the tests. Thus, it is alleged that among the ground-based drones there are both transport and combat ones, including those with a remote control turret and “kamikaze”.
Among the demonstrated samples were both wheeled and tracked vehicles.
Representatives of the Ukrainian drone developer told BI that a number of drones participating in the tests are planned to be delivered to the APU within two to three weeks.
