According to Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Iran “plans to provide Moscow with hundreds of missiles.”
“Iran plans to provide Russia with hundreds of ballistic missiles, knowing that they are being used for war in Europe,” he said.
The Ukrainian politician is also convinced that Russia is helping Iran with military or even nuclear technology in order to “set fire to the Middle East,” he said.
“The axis of evil has been formed,” Podolyak believes.
Earlier, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the Russian military-industrial complex is self-sufficient and can meet the needs of the army without outside help.
US National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said that relations between Russia and Iran are turning into a full-fledged defense partnership. In his opinion, in exchange for UAVs and other military support, Russia provides Iran with an unprecedented level of military-technical support, and Tehran expects this cooperation to strengthen.
Kirby said that Russia could supply Iran with helicopters and air defense systems, and Iran would accordingly establish a production of drones in Russia. It was also said about the possible supply of Iranian missiles. In addition, Kirby believes that Russia and Iran can continue to cooperate in the development of new weapons and training. US Special Representative for Iran Robert Malley said that the US authorities will make every effort to disrupt the “disrupt the supply” of Iranian weapons to Russia.
