Sergei Korolev, first deputy head of the FSB and member of the supervisory board of the state corporation Rosatom, was removed from the UK’s anti-Russian sanctions list, RIA Novosti reports, citing a document published on the website of the British government.

It states that the entry “Sergei Borisovich Korolev” “has been removed from the consolidated list and her assets are no longer subject to freezing.”

The Supervisory Board of Rosatom is the highest governing body of the state corporation. Solvet is headed by Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, who led the nuclear industry in Russia from 2005 to 2016.

The UK sanctions list includes more than 1.7 thousand individuals and legal entities associated with the Russian Federation.
