British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak sacked Suella Braverman as Home Secretary. About it reports Sky News channel.

In a statement released after her dismissal, Braverman said: “Being Secretary of the Interior has been the greatest privilege of my life. I will have something to say in due time.”

A message posted on Conservative Party social media said Sunak’s reshuffle “strengthens his government team to make long-term decisions for a brighter future.”

Sky News recalls that last week Barverman published article accusing police of “playing favorites” by criticizing the Metropolitan Police’s handling of a controversial Palestinian march on Armistice Day.

Sunak is launching a reshuffle as a general election could take place within the next 12 months. It is likely that the cabinet that will be formed now will be the team that will fight in the next elections.

This is the second time Braverman has lost her home secretary job, after she resigned from Liz Truss’s government. Sunak appointed Braverman to the position less than a week after he took office as prime minister, the broadcaster said.

October 21st in central London passed mass demonstration in support of Palestine, attracting up to 100,000 people. The protesters demanded an end to the blockade of the Gaza Strip and a stop to Israeli airstrikes on civilian targets. British authorities urged participants to take into account the feelings of the Jewish community in London, which is mourning the victims of the Hamas attack. Most of the demonstration followed local laws, but there were isolated incidents of illegal behavior.
