Ufimtsev to replace Yurgens as president of the All-Russian Union of Insurers

The Presidium of the All-Russian Union of Insurers (VSS) nominated Yevgeny Ufimtsev for the post of president of the organization. He became the only candidate. Officially, he will be elected to the post on November 25, according to website VSS.
The current president of the ARIA Igor Yurgens announced resignation on 22 August. Since the position of the President of the ARIA has a cross-cutting status, which combines positions in the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RUA) and the National Union of Liability Insurers (NULI), then, accordingly, Mr. Yurgens is leaving these posts as well.
Mr. Ufimtsev has been the Executive Director of the RAMI since 2015, and since 2016 the Vice President of the ARIA.
Igor Yurgens was the president of the ARIA from 1998 to 2002, after which he was re-elected to this post in 2013. Since 2015, he has been the President of the RSA, in 2016 he also headed the NSSO.
