The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has a strong and strong relationship with Russia. This was announced on Wednesday, July 5, by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE, Suhail al-Mazruki.

The politician noted that the presence of the President of the United Arab Emirates and many ministers at SPIEF was the biggest evidence of this.

Commenting on the impact of Western restrictions on relations with the Russian Federation, al-Mazuki noted that “we are balancing our relations, and our relations with Russia are still strong and good.”

Earlier, members of the Federation Council suggested that the Bank of Russia, as part of its foreign economic activity, carry out settlements in various foreign currencies, such as Indian rupees, Iranian rials and UAE dirhams. Senators noted that this will contribute to the growth of the use of national currencies for servicing foreign trade contracts with priority partners.
