Two people were injured during the shelling of Elizavetovka in the Kursk region

As a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops of the village of Elizavetovka in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, two people were injured, informed Governor of the region Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel.
“Unfortunately, two civilians were injured: a man with wounds to his lower extremities is in serious condition, in addition, a woman received shrapnel wounds,” he wrote.
The victims were taken to the central district hospital, if necessary, they are transported to the regional hospital. In total, three arrivals were recorded in the village from Ukraine, Starovoit added.
The Kursk region is regularly attacked by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region.
On the night of August 20, a drone flew in into the roof of the building of the railway station in Kursk, after which a fire broke out there. Starovoit reported at the time that five people had been injured by broken glass. On August 18, Russian electronic warfare (EW) systems landed a Ukrainian kamikaze drone in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region.
