Two-day memorial service for Vakhtang Kikabidze begins in Tbilisi

A civil memorial service for actor and singer Vakhtang Kikabidze began in the Kashveti Church in the center of Tbilisi, the events will last two days.
According to eyewitnesses, people come to the temple on Rustaveli Avenue, bring flowers. The temple is attended by members of the artist’s family, famous artists, as well as politicians. Entrance is open to everyone.
The final part of the mourning events will take place in the large concert hall of the Tbilisi Philharmonic, where the artist has repeatedly performed. Kikabidze will be buried on January 19 at the Veriysky cemetery in the Georgian capital.
Meanwhile in Moscow said goodbye to People’s Artist Inna Churikova.
