Actor Dmitry Nazarov, last week dismissed from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater by decision of the artistic director Konstantin Khabensky, continued the publication of his poems one day. As sources previously told MK, it was this public “anti-Russian position” of the artist that caused his dismissal, as well as the resignation of his wife Olga Vasilyeva from the theater.
“A blizzard whistles in your pens, miserable leftovers in the feeders. And you bite each other, but you have to gnaw the cages with fangs,” says Nazarov in his new video.
Further, he continues the discussion about the humility, which, in his opinion, is characteristic of many compatriots.
“Submission was hammered into our tonsils with fear, along with stinking fear. I also followed the commands that I was accustomed to from childhood,” says Nazarov.
The day before it became known that the Moscow Art Theater had already found a replacement for Nazarov, who served in the theater for almost 20 years. According to media reports, his role in one of the productions was given to the actor of the Moscow Academic Satire Theater Anatoly Kot.
