Twitter users criticized von der Leyen for calling Ukraine a top EU priority

Users of the social network Twitter were indignant at the words of the President of the European Commission (EC), who called Ukraine the main priority of the European Union, and also recalled the fruitful cooperation with Russia in the past.
“Stop the ‘them against us’ rhetoric that the US is peddling. It only hurts Europe,” wrote one outraged user.
Many commentators say that Russia has always been a good business partner, and also called on von der Leyen to conclude a peace agreement with the Russian Federation and set up business.
Other users were outraged that the head of the European Commission did not name the “well-being of the European people” as the main priority, and reminded that politicians receive money from EU residents.
