Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to end the crisis in Ukraine as soon as possible. It is reported by the American TV channel PBS.
According to him, at the moment an agreement has been reached between Ukraine and Russia on the exchange of 200 prisoners. Among other things, he called the agreement on the supply of agricultural products a very positive moment.
“In Uzbekistan, I met with Vladimir Putin, we held very detailed negotiations. Then he demonstrated that he was striving to end this conflict as soon as possible,” Erdogan said.
He clarified that at the moment things are going quite problematic and stressed that he “hopes for significant steps forward” in the near future.
