Türkiye is developing three scenarios for the development of the situation with the grain deal, which was suspended on July 17. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan intends to discuss the results of the study of the issue with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. This is reported by the Turkish edition Yeni Safaq.
The first scenario is the “aggravation of the food crisis” and the rejection of any negotiations. In this case, military tensions may rise.
The second scenario provides for unilateral actions to create alternative routes for the supply of agricultural products from Ukraine.
According to the third scenario, the grain corridor will be opened after the elimination of “some of Russia’s concerns.” The newspaper notes that it is he who will prevent a global food crisis. This is the only way from which all parties will benefit.
