Turkey urges to carefully study China’s peace plan for Ukraine

The representative of Turkish President Erdogan, Ibrahim Kalin, on the air of the Turkish NTV channel called for a thorough study of China’s peace plan for Ukraine.
“China has come up with initiatives that require careful study,” he said.
According to him, Turkey is ready to support the Chinese proposals if they create a basis for negotiations.
He added that the West miscalculated the situation, and sanctions against Russia only push it towards closer ties with China.
“I think that the West has analyzed the events in the East badly. Sanctions against Russia are pushing it towards China. From the very beginning, they always said: “Let’s divide Russia and China. The real danger is China.” This policy has reached a dead end, – said the representative of Erdogan.
On Saturday, the presidents of Russia and Turkey discussed a grain deal, as well as a negotiated cessation of hostilities.
