Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu criticized official US condolences in connection with yesterday’s terrorist attack in Istanbul.
The head of the Turkish Interior Ministry said that Washington’s condolences can be assessed as if the perpetrator of the attack was one of the first to come to the site of the explosion.
“The response to this message will be very clear, hopefully very soon,” Soil said. However, he did not cite the text of condolences from the United States.
On Sunday, November 13, an explosion occurred on the tourist street of Istiklal in Istanbul. As a result of the attack, six people were killed and more than 80 were injured.
Ankara believes that the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), banned in Turkey, is behind the terrorist attack.
