Turkey called on Russia to fulfill the agreements regarding the Kurdish formations

At the talks with representatives of the Russian Federation, the Turkish authorities reminded Moscow of the commitments agreed by the two countries regarding the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish Self-Defense Forces (YPG). This was announced on Saturday by the Anadolu agency.
The agency noted that “Ankara reiterated the need to implement the provisions of the agreements regarding the PKK and YPG terrorists” in the framework of political consultations between Russia and Turkey.
Earlier it was reported that a Russian delegation led by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin would visit Istanbul for political consultations with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal.
In accordance with the memorandum concluded by Russia and Turkey in Sochi on October 22, 2019, all formations of Kurdish militias must be withdrawn from the cities of Manbij and Tell Rifat and withdrawn 30 km from the border with Turkey in northeast Syria.
