[ad_1]

Turkey and Armenia have removed obstacles to direct air cargo transportation between the two countries. The historical economic decision is reported by the TR-haber portal.

Despite the common border, there are no diplomatic relations between the countries. In 2009, in Zurich, the foreign ministers of the two states signed protocols on the establishment of diplomatic relations and on the principles of mutual relations. But these documents were never ratified. On March 1, 2018, Armenia announced the annulment of the protocols.

In 2021, Armenia and Turkey appointed their special representatives for the settlement of relations.
