Turkey allowed Erdogan to negotiate with Putin and Zelensky on January 12 or 13

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on January 12 or 13. informed TV channel CNN Türk with reference to the Turkish Ombudsman Şeref Malkoç.

It is specified that the topic of conversation will be the issue of organizing a humanitarian corridor.

The day before, January 11, Erdogan supported the idea to organize humanitarian corridors for the wounded in connection with the situation in Ukraine. According to him, Turkey is ready to take over their treatment. He recalled that before that, Turkey delivered the wounded from Syria, Azerbaijan and Libya and treated them. According to Erdogan, this is Turkey’s “humanitarian duty”. He also stated that Ankara will continue to work in this direction.

On January 11, a meeting of Ombudsmen of the Russian Federation and Ukraine Tatiana Moskalkova and Dmitry Lubinets was held in Ankara, they were also joined by Malkoch and Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Mustafa Sentop.
