Turchak: United Russia will take an active part in Putin’s election campaign

Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Andrei Turchak said that the party will take an active part in the election campaign of Vladimir Putin for a fifth presidential term. The day before, DPR hero Artem Zhoga said that during a conversation at a reception in the Kremlin, Putin told him that he would take part in the elections.
Turchak explained during a meeting of the initiative group to nominate Vladimir Putin for a new presidential term that United Russia is Putin’s party because he created it 22 years ago.
According to the secretary of the General Council of the political organization, United Russia will provide its entire infrastructure, as well as a network of regional branches, in order to facilitate pre-election events.
