Turchak announced the deprivation of the United Russia party card of the deputy who spent his vacation in the UAE

Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrey Turchak said that the day before there were “several high-profile situations” when the deputies of United Russia showed themselves “inadequately.” He mentioned the deputy of the Vologda Regional Duma Denis Dolzhenko, who went on vacation to the UAE. Mr. Turchak said that tomorrow (January 10) he would be deprived of his membership card.

“You can do a lot of things in life – run, dive, ski… But there is a time and a place for everything. Another one of our MPs will be deprived of their membership card tomorrow. I ran,” wrote the Secretary of the General Council of United Russia in Telegram.

He attached another post to the post – with a screen of Denis Dolzhenko’s page from VKontakte. It shows a photograph of Denis Dolzhenko taken on vacation. In the comments, users accuse the deputy of not befitting the behavior of a “servant of the people.”

A similar situation previously occurred with another civil servant – a deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma Maxim Vasiliev. To the network hit video of him saying hello while on vacation in Mexico. Andrey Turchak offered to the deputy, as well as his wife – also a deputy – to resign and suggested that they could be moved to this decision by “Wagner’s sledgehammer” or “Starovoit’s kick”.

Denis Dolzhenko has been a member of the Vologda Regional Duma since 2011. In the current convocation, he holds the position of deputy head of the committee on economic policy and property.
