A Russian flag appeared in the center of the recently liberated village of Veseloye in the DPR. It was installed by Tula paratroopers. They brought one of the state symbols to the monument to those killed during the Second World War. Thus, they dedicated their victory to their grandfathers and great-grandfathers who fought in the Great Patriotic War, RIA Novosti reports.

The fighters said that the event was exciting for them, because they, like their grandfathers and great-grandfathers, fight against fascism. “I don’t want my sons to get the world that the “Western partners” offer,” said one of the paratroopers.

Let us remind you that information about the liberation of the village of Veseloe appeared on January 18. The Ministry of Defense reported that units of Tula paratroopers from the Yuzhnaya group entered the village.
