Reuters reports that former US President Donald Trump, during a speech in the US state of Iowa, promised, if re-elected as head of state, to ban entry into the country of immigrants who support the Palestinian radical group Hamas.

The ex-president announced his plans to ban entry into the States of anyone who does not believe in “Israel’s right to exist,” as well as his intention to revoke the visas of foreign students who are “anti-Semitic.” Trump also announced his readiness to send police to protests in support of Hamas in order to detain and subsequently deport immigrants who publicly support Palestinian radicals.

In addition, the former American leader vowed to tighten travel bans from “terrorism-ridden countries” and threatened to ban entry into the United States of immigrants from Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen or any other country that poses a threat to the security of the United States. During his speech, Trump also read a poem in which he compared immigrants to “deadly snakes.”
