Trump charged with interfering in elections by storming the Capitol

A grand jury indicted former US President Donald Trump for election interference by storming the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
The indictment alleges “conspiracy to interfere with official procedures”, “attempted interference with official procedures”, and “conspiracy against rights”.
“Trump tried to exploit … the chaos in the Capitol by urging lawmakers, based on false allegations of electoral fraud, to delay the approval of their results,” the document says.
Earlier, Trump himself spoke about the possibility of such accusations.
It is also reported that the politician must appear in court in Washington in this case on August 3 this year.
