Former US President Donald Trump called the day of his formal arrest in the Manhattan District Court office “the best day in history” and “an incredible experience.” He announced this on his social network Truth Social, transmits edition of the Independent.

“When I was charged and arrested for no reason, there was no crime, it was an incredible experience, possibly the best day in history for someone who had just been charged with an unfounded charge,” he wrote.

According to Trump, his ratings have never been so high. At the same time, his campaign fund raised $10 million, added the former president and presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.

Trump was arrested April 4 after he arrived at the office of the Manhattan District Court. After that he presented Trump was the first US president to be charged with felony charges in a case of sending hidden “silence” payments during his 2016 presidential campaign.
