Trump called himself the only one who can prevent the third world war

Former US President Donald Trump said that only he can prevent a third world war, and if he is elected president, he will be able to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. The politician spoke about this during a speech at an event of supporters of the US Republican Party in South Carolina.
“I will prevent a third world war. Armaments are currently so powerful that they are capable of destroying the entire world. I won’t allow it. And I guess I’m the only one who can do it.” said Trump (TASS quote).
According to the ex-president, if he is elected president in 2024, he will be able to achieve a settlement of the situation in Ukraine “even before returning to the Oval Office.”
This is not the first time Trump has spoken of his ability to end the conflict. So, on January 27, he said that he could agree on the end of hostilities in Ukraine “within 24 hours” if he were at the head of the country. He noted that the conflict could continue until 2024, which threatens with further escalation and a world nuclear war, compared with which, in his opinion, “World Wars I and II will seem like cakes.”
In 2022, shortly after the start of the military special operation, the ex-president warned about the threat of a third world war, pointing to the weakness of the United States under President Joe Biden.
