The Ministry of Construction yesterday announced the completion of the distribution of infrastructure budget loans – 1 trillion rubles. of such loans will be spent on the construction of 960 facilities in 83 regions of the Russian Federation. Recall that we are talking about loans for a period of 15 years at a rate not exceeding 3% per annum for the construction, reconstruction, repair of transport, engineering, communal, social and tourist infrastructure. As Kommersant was told in the Ministry of Construction, only two subjects of the Russian Federation did not take part in the program – Mordovia and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The program was launched in 2021 as part of the so-called “Infrastructure Menu” (along with the mechanisms of infrastructure bonds, restructuring of budget loans and financing projects for the modernization of housing and communal services from the National Welfare Fund). Initially, 500 billion rubles were provided for it. for 2022–2023. However, the volume of applications received at that time almost tripled this amount, amounting to 1.3 trillion rubles, in connection with which it was extended with the allocation of another 500 billion rubles. for 2024–2025.

As the first deputy head of the Ministry of Construction, Alexander Lomakin, said yesterday, 100 billion rubles have been brought to the regions so far. for 2022–2023, of which 68.3 billion rubles were disbursed. loans. The Ministry of Finance, which previously called for a delay due to the risks of growing debt burden in the regions, did not comment on the possibility of extending the program yesterday.
