Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov visited the editorial office “Arguments and Facts” and answered questions from journalists. He stated that Russians who left the country after the start of the special operation and took the position of Ukraine are not welcome in the Russian Federation. This does not apply to those who are simply dissatisfied with the policies being pursued in the country, but do not take the side of its opponent. Those who take part in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, Mr. Peskov added, must be destroyed.

“Among those who disagree there are those who remain with their homeland. And there are those who have become enemies. Literally took the position of an enemy of his country. These are the others. They won’t be welcome here, that’s for sure,” he said during the visit.

Mr. Peskov recalled the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the FSB board. Then the head of state called intelligence services to find saboteurs who have defected to the enemy.

“The President spoke about those traitors who really take up arms and start fighting against you and me. It must be destroyed. Thank God, there are not many of them who have taken this path,” said the press secretary.

During his conversation with reporters, Mr. Peskov also noted the importance of traditional values. According to him, for Russia it is a matter of life and death. The head of state’s press secretary added that it is necessary “in a good sense” to promote large families in order to increase the birth rate.
