The training of the Ukrainian military in the management of Abrams tanks in Germany is being completed, the Business Insider newspaper writes, citing Martin O’Donnell, the representative of the US Army in Europe and Africa. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
At the same time, it is noted that students will not return to Ukraine until the tanks themselves are provided to the Kyiv regime. The total number of Ukrainians studying in Germany is about 200, the duration of the program is 12 weeks. In total, Ukraine was promised to transfer 31 Abrams tanks.
Additional military training is expected to last until autumn.
Earlier it was reported that the US authorities approved the shipment of the first batch of Abrams to Ukraine. The Kyiv regime will receive an old version of the M1A1.
