Russian security forces discovered in Melitopol traces of the extremist movement “Crimean Hundred” (an extremist movement that is a division of the “Right Sector” banned in the Russian Federation (an extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation)).
A representative of the law enforcement agency told RIA Novosti about this.
The interlocutor of the agency said that “in the course of operational work” a resident of Melitopol was identified, who served in the units of Ukrainian militants.
“The task force moved to the address where he lived,” – said the representative of the department.
During the inspection of the house where the suspect lived, according to him, the security forces found “leaflets and stickers, including those with the symbols of the Right Sector terrorist organization (an extremist organization banned in Russia) and Nazi symbols.”
The interlocutor specified that “this is the so-called Crimean Hundred, one of the units of the Right Sector.
In addition, the flag of Ukraine, the uniform of Ukrainian nationalists, literature intended for reconnaissance and sabotage activities, as well as other materials of an extremist nature and ammunition for a machine gun were found in the house.
As a representative of the law enforcement agency noted, traces of the Crimean Hundred were discovered on the territory of Melitopol for the first time.
